Dog Paws & Sandy Hair is located in one of six rare blue zones of the world. A place where there is a condensed population of people who live long, healthy & happy lives in greater volumes than anywhere else in the world. The Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica.

 

We offer villa vacation rentals (many of them are pet friendly) in this beautiful town of Playa Tambor. Enjoy our 8km of sandy beach of Bellena Bay (Whale Bay) which is a cove resulting in softer waves for whales to start their family and a perfect nesting spot for the endangered Olive Ridley Turtle. Plan your trip just right and you may be apart of seeing/protecting these amazing animals. 

 

Villa Serenidad is your relaxing getaway 2 doors from the ocean/beach front. This large 3 bed 3 bath home is suitable for a large family or those that enjoy an abundance of space. Our 1/4 acre yard is private with a 25’ pool and shady overhang in the back to rest out of the sun. 

 

La Casa Azul is our Spanish inspired home perfect for a small family or a couples get-away. Our home is a 3 bed 2.5 bath with a private yard & pool with a 16’ rancho for optimal outdoor living.

Eric & I are Canadians whom fell in love with this beautiful & vibrant country. We knew during our first visit in 2014 that this country had to be apart of our lives going forward.
